Job Description

Private Client Tax DirectorHuntingdon£85,000 + benefits AJ Chambers are pleased to be working with a very impressive and progressive Accountancy Practice, who are seeking a Senior Appointment of a Private Client Tax Director to join their growing team.With an impressive private client base which includes agricultural estates, investment bankers, hedge fund owners and a wide range of HNW individuals, this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to join a firm with genuine progression to Partnershipin the future.They are seeking an experienced private client practitioner with proven advisory skills to work closely with the partner and help service the needs of a complex and dynamic client portfolio.This is a busy role which will see you involved in a large amount of tax planning work. You will be advising on Capital Taxes planning - both CGT and IHT, structuring of family businesses (working alongside corporate tax colleagues and corporate finance),Family investment vehicles, as well as:

  • Working with IFAs and investment managers on tax efficient wealth planning.
  • Residence and domicile planning.
  • Trust planning.
  • All round advice to HNW individuals and their families.
  • Working with the internal family office offering.
  • Oversight of personal tax compliance prepared by more junior staff.
  • Management and development of more junior staff.
