Job Description

I am currently working exclusively with an innovative company that has experienced 60% growth year on year over the last 3 years. They are based near Kettering. They are currently looking to add a junior App support engineer providing Software and network support. As part of their growth plan, they are looking for engineers to interact with customers and grow with the company.You will be involved in dealing with issues including -

  • Resolving issues within SLAs
  • Working with Customers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner and similar problems do not occur again
  • Managing 3rd party relationships.
  • Bridging technical skills gaps in order to further your technical knowledge (training and certification provided)
    • Technical skills required for the role:
  • SQL is essential for the role
  • Networking Experience - WAN, LAN, vLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RDP
  • CCENT or CCNA is beneficial but not necessary
  • Any experience providing network support is also essential
  • Industry certifications is an advantage but not necessary as these will be provided.
  • Previous experience working within a MSP/ISP environment is desirable
    • It is expected that you will have at least 2 years recent experience working at the 2nd Line support level within a Managed Service environment.
