Job Description

We are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Financial Adviser to join a successful, well-established client based in Radlett.You will be provided with a small bank of clients on starting, and support from a strong administration team. There is flexibility to work from home and within the office, depending on preference.This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced Adviser to work for a supportive and progressive company, to grow your career further.Key responsibilities:

  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings
  • Conducting in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims
  • Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients’ requirements
  • Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information and comparisons on new and existing products and services
  • Designing financial strategies
  • Assisting clients to make informed decisions
  • Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products
  • Negotiating with product suppliers for the best possible rates
  • Liaising with and working with financial services providers, regulators and professional bodies
  • Liaising with other professionals, such as estate agents, accountants, solicitors and valuers
  • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
  • Producing financial reports
  • Keeping accurate records and maintaining client confidentiality and data protection
  • Presenting financial reports and strategies to clients in a clear, fair, and timely fashion
  • Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments
  • Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided, and costs of advised products
  • Maintaining professional qualifications, e.g. ongoing assessments and structured Continuous Professional Development
  • Deliver all of the above with integrity, honesty and professionalism
  • What the employer is looking for:
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser
  • DipFA qualified - Level 4 Diploma
  • Self-motivated
  • Good communication, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational and presentational skills
