RECRUITMENTiQ are delighted to be working with aSynagogue based in Radlett who are seeking a Caretaker.Are seeking to fill this Caretaker vacancy, with or without on-site 2-bedroom flat accommodation.This role is to carry out general services including ensuring site security is always maintained, maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds and all furniture and equipment. It is essential that you have prior Health & Safety knowledge and experiencerelating to cleaning and general property maintenance.The role will require the job holder to understand the operations of the Synagogue, to help and support the administrators and honorary officers deliver a high-quality service that meets the expectations of the Synagogues members, of which full training willbe available to the successful candidate.The main duties will include:Preparing the synagogue premises and other rooms and facilities for services, functions, and other activities.Ensuring that the structure, maintenance, safety of the building and equipment inside and out is adequately maintained.Cleaning of internal areas as required, not only of the synagogue premises but of the other properties owned by the synagogue as requested.Maintenance of the gardens and external areas of the synagogue and other properties owned by the synagogue.The successful person will be expected to have a well-developed sense of responsibility and be able to work well as a member of the Synagogue Team. The post holder will also be expected to be well organised and have good customer care skills. In addition, youwill need to be self-motivated and adaptable.Full -Time: 40 hours per working week roster, with Saturdays and occasional evening hoursSalary: £26,000 -£30,000 per annum depending on accommodation requirements.The Synagogue is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children.
