Mechanical InspectorWarwickshire6 - 12 month contract at first Our client is a global strategic engineering and environmental consultancy that specialises in the transport, energy and scarce resources sectorsRoleThis role involves working in a small team to validate high quality transmission components and casings, mainly for the motorsport / aerospace industries. With a right first time philosophy and a flexible and efficient approach to the task at hand. You shallbe working with Mitutoyo co-ordinate measuring machines, both setting and operating. Knowledge of programming would be a distinct advantage.Candidate

The successful candidate will be fully proficient in first article measuring skills, able to set up and effectively and efficiently operate CMM machines, with a clear understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. Knowledge of gears andgear geometry would be an advantage.
The ability to work individually and as part of a team to maximise the challenges this position offers is essential
Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team
Be willing to work overtime when required to achieve delivery dates

Hours:(21:15-07:00, Monday to Thursday) - but would require to train on days to start (07:30 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday | 07:30 - 12:30, Friday)Whilst Training Days: £13.77 PAYE - £18.70 Umb + retainerAfter Training Base Rate £16.53 PAYE / £22.44 Umb + Retainer
