Job Description

HR administrator role:The HR administrator will be responsible for handling high volume administrative and transactional activities related to employee on/off boarding, leave management, compliance, records management, and retention. Ensuring all enquiries are accurately addressedin a professional, efficient, timely manner.HR administrator key responsibilities:

  • Supporting a broad range of HR transactional activities, including, but not limited to, new starters, absence management, employee changes, payroll, rewards & benefits and leavers
  • Maintaining personnel files and updating internal databases with employee details
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding process including but not limited to creating offers, employment contracts and maintaining trackers
  • Answering HR queries from employees on a ticketing system
  • Participate in project work as and when required, including support to other HR team members
  • Processing invoices
  • Creating reports
  • Provide an efficient internal service by adhering to pre-set service standards / SLAs
HR administrator skills, attributes and qualifications:
  • Excellent organisational skill with an ability to prioritise work and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to research and resolve problems in a timely manner and works on more than one issue simultaneously and prioritise urgency of requests.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
  • Experience as an HR assistant/administrator
  • Experience with HR software ideally: Cascade, SAP, sharepoint or any other HRIS is desirable
  • CIPD Foundation or Associate level or a degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience desirable but not essential.
