Design Engineer Electro-Mechanical Salary Rang £27-35kWarwickshireAdvantage Resourcing are working with a global strategic engineering and environmental consultancy that specialises in the transport, energy and scarce resources sectors and are seeking aDesign Engineer with Electro-Mechanical experience. Essential:Basic knowledge of designing and developing electronic components and assemblies within the automotive or similar industries (Experience in the automotive industry is preferable but not essential)Basic knowledge of 3D CAD systems, ideally, an experienced user of CATIA V5, Creo or NX CAD systemsDesirable:Basic knowledge of automotive electric and hybrid powertrainsKnowledge of volume manufacturing techniques such as sand and die casting, extrusions, plastic injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication, metal joining (welding/riveting/bonding), PCB manufacture and wire harness assemblyKnowledge of prototype manufacturing techniques such as rapid prototyping and CNC machining.
