Shipping / Export CoordinatorHalesowen / Quinton areaUp to £27,000Mon - Fri Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join the Midlands fastest growing technology business Following unrivalled success in recent years the business, who provide medical appliances, are looking to add to their Logistics team due to further growthplans.About to move to a new premises, we are looking to recruit a logistics coordinator to process orders and oversees cycle of order fulfilment. You will be responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed throughthe delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.* Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another* Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with no delay. FedEx/DHL etc* Receive products and coordinates delivery* Prepares loads for shipment, to include picking, packing and printing labels* Take steps to avoid quality control issues* Ensure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels* Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established guidelines are met.* Oversees inventory of goods.* Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible* Streamlines shipping and transportation processes* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of internal and external contacts* Ability to assess provision and order fulfilment logistics and propose and implement improvements as and when required.You will be an organised, hands on individual and happy to wear many hats whilst performing your day-to-day role. The company is expanding, but still in its infancy so having people with great attitudes to all round teamwork is essential.You will be happy handling deliveries and manually moving stock around the premises, as well as knowledgeable with exporting goods.
