We are currently seeking an ambitious Quality Manager to be based at one of our client’s sites in south Birmingham (B32).The company has around 150 employees on site but is part of a global leader in their field with a multi-billion-euro turnover.In this generalist role you will take responsibility for 2 members of the Quality Assurance / Control team whilst overseeing daily product and process quality issues together with process improvements, PPAP submissions and corrective actions.You will also work closely with suppliers and customers on all quality issues.The company is ISO 9001 / 14001 certified but is currently improving their quality systems to produce and track data which will help quality and manufacturing improve quality whilst reducing cost.Candidates will be suitably qualified in an engineering discipline plus have experience gained within automotive / aerospace / rail/ yellow goods or similar.We are particularly interested in candidates with an electromechanical assembly type background.Hours - normal days - mostly factory based but some international travel to suppliers and customers.The company offers a base salary circa 55,000 - 60,000 plus benefits.To apply please send your CV to Gary Simpson
