Job Description

I am delighted to be working with a great company based in the Pudsey area who are looking to add to their existing accounts team.This role is a permanent opportunity and the successful candidate will be responsible for the sales ledger/credit control for the business.Typical duties:

  • Credit control and sales ledger duties
  • Chasing payments via phone, letter and email
  • Allocating payments
  • Reconciling statements
  • Issuing invoices and copy invoices where necessary
  • Dealing with payment and customer queries
  • Monitoring overdue payments efficiently
  • Ensuring the ledger is kept upto date and is complete accurate
  • Assisting with adhoc accounts administration
Ideal candidate:
  • Will have experience in a similar role
  • Will be an excellent communicator and can build rapport with colleagues and customers alike
  • Will be experienced in debt chasing
  • Will ideally have double entry bookkeeping experience
  • Will have experience in accounting software and Excel
