Junior CAD Engineer (Product Design / SolidWorks)£28,000 - £34,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Early Finish Friday + Bonus + Comprehensive and Structured Training Pudsey (Leeds)Are you a CAD design engineer from a product design background with experience in SolidWorks looking to develop your career within a long established, growing and dynamic manufacturing business with excellent training and development opportunitiesIn this role you will be the link between the marketing team and the procurement team, to ensure that technical information is supplied, correct and up to date, this role will allow you to develop your skills and where you can drive growth within the business On offer is the opportunity to work for a well-established leading manufacturer of high quality components for the automotive and aerospace industry with 70 experience in manufacturing and supply of essential everyday components. This manufacturer has a clientfocused ethos through their high quality, and superior products with over 5,000 components to choose from. On offer is a role where you will generate 3D models using SolidWorks, working on drawing components of varied materials from metals to plastics and multipart assemblies.This Role would suit a highly motivated design engineer looking to progress their career whilst working within a talented design team ensuring that products meet the clients high quality standards.The Training:

1 to 1 training with the technical manager to ensure you get up to speed.
Training on their inhouse products

The Role:

Producing ISO standard drawings for use in both marketing and manufacture
Maintaining the CAD library, making drawing changes and issuing ECN (Engineering Change Notice) documents when required
Producing true to life application designs and images using a combination of SolidWorks and Visualise software
To produce information on technical details for publication both online and offline.
To liaise with the procurement department on product management to ensure all technical information is marketed as required

The person:

Experience in 3D CAD software SolidWorks
One - two years design experience required as full training can be provided
