Sales EngineerMurray Myers Recruitment are very pleased to be assisting our client, a major manufacturer in their recruitment of a Sales Engineer based in Calverley, Leeds.Responsibilities.Be prepared to look for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential. Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirementsDiscuss client needs to find a product or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and deliveryNegotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needsCalculate client quotations and administer client accountsProvide pre-sales technical assistance and product educationwork on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as requiredArrange and carry out product trainingAnalyse costs and salesPrepare reports for the office and keep customer recordsMeet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projectsMake technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needsLiaise with other members of the sales team and other technical engineersSkillsA solid technical backgroundSales skillsCommunication skillsSound judgement and good business senseOrganisational skillsTeam working abilityThe ability to build relationships quickly and effectivelyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsResilience and tenacityIndependence and self-reliance.Technical sales engineers usually split their time between the office and visiting clients.What we offer in return:£45- 50 K plus CommissionHours of work Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 pm.
