Job Description

Commercial Gas EngineerJOB ROLE:We are looking to recruit a full time Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established and highly regarded company based in Leeds working across the Yorkshire regions. Travel required.OUR COMPANY:We are a privately owned Limited company and were established in 1931. We have a team of highly experienced and dedicated engineers who are directly employed and specialise in the repair and planned maintenance of all types of systems within the Commercialand Industrial sectors. We are an equal opportunities employerRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance of Commercial Heating and Hot Water Appliances
  • Reactive Repairs and Breakdowns
  • Working as part of a close and supportive team
  • Comply with statutory Health and Safety requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Gas Safe: 2 years (Required)
  • Experience in Commercial Reactive Repairs and PPM
  • Relevant Domestic and Commercial Gas Safe Qualifications
  • Highly Motivated and Customer Focused
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good Time Keeping and PDA literate (Training provided)
IDEAL CANDIDATE:Current Gas Safe registration both Domestic & CommercialCCN1,CENWAT,CKR1,HTR1,CIGA1,CoDNC01,ICPN1,TPCP1Oil, LPG & Catering (Not essential as training can be provided)IPAF & PASMA (Not essential as training can be provided)COVID-19 precaution(s):
  • Personal protective equipment provided or required
  • Social distancing guidelines in place
  • Sanitisation, disinfection, or cleaning procedures in place
WE WILL PROVIDE:
  • Salary: From £35,000.00 per year
  • Company sign written van with fuel card
  • Full branded uniform and PPE
  • PDA
  • All required power tools and equipment to fulfil the role
  • An on-going Training and Development programme will also be provided
FURTHER DETAILS:
  • Standard 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities.
  • Travel time paid door-to-door
  • You will also be required to participate on the existing out of hours call out rota (Additional Call out fee and Overtime rates paid)
  • Weekend availability
  • 24 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
  • Hourly rate (based on experience) paid weekly
