Job Title: Weekend On Call CoordinatorLocations: PrestonPay Rate: £10.55 per hourHours: 16 Hours per weekendRotational shift patterns: Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm / Saturday & Sunday 2.45pm-10.45pmWe Care, We Listen, We Strive and We Build.Guardian Homecare are looking for dependable and dedicated people to join our highly motivated Weekend on call team at our Preston branch based at Bamber Bridge. We are currently looking for call handlers to deal with emergency calls from various sectorsincluding service users/family members, care staff, local councils, GPs, local health services/professionals, community services and other emergency services.Call handlers are first point of contact and are required to work quickly and calmly, taking essential details and logging the information onto a computer system and making decisions about how best to handle the situation. As a call handler, you often workunder pressure and will be required to think fast, multitask and use your own initiative.Excellent customer care skills, communication skills and IT skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize calls and give telephone advice. The weekend on call team, ensure that all calls answered are within a predetermined timeframe and are dealtwith both promptly and professionally to ensure the smooth running of the Intermediate Crisis, Reablement and Domiciliary contracts. Calls are from the geographical areas of Central Lancashire and West Lancashire.We will support you every step of the way!Duties will include:

• Answering high volume of phone calls and dealing with them accordingly
• Deliver excellent Customer Service
• Prioritizing calls
• Giving telephone advice
• Rostering of care staff

• Assessing, controlling and arranging a swift and appropriate resolution to emergency situations
• Accurately recording details of all calls received using our computer systems
• Swiftly taking action based on the information provided by customers in emergency situations
• Experienced in using various systems to keep records updated and use of Microsoft Packages
• Proven ability to multitask and follow procedures
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
• Demonstrate previous experience in a care, customer service or call centre environment
