Job Description

Reed Accountancy is excited to be recruiting for the largest independent provider within their industry. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team assisting with sales ledger and purchase ledger tasks.Responsibilities:• Updating the debtor’s ledger• Checking and filing invoices• Chasing outstanding payments by telephone, email, and letter• Efficiently resolving customer queries by liaising with other teams, to ensure that customer service is at the centre of all communication• Evaluate credit risk for new and existing customers and ensure credit limits are within the guidelines, set by the financial controller• Posting and allocation of customer payments• Ensuring statements and invoices are sent out within agreed timeframes, to reduce late payments, or queriesPackage:• Salary: £20-25k• Monday – Friday (8-5pm)• 28 days holiday (inc bank hol)• Company Events• Company Pension SchemeInterested Please reply to this advert and I’ll be in touch should you be short listed.**Due to the high volumes of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial telephone interview.
