Job Description

REED are proud to be recruiting for a Customs Entry Clerk / Administrator on behalf of a leading freight & logistics business based in Preston.Established almost 20 years ago, this business specialises in the customs and freight market and has grown to service more than 750 routes all over the world. Recently doubling the size of their team to account for the growth within their sector, this well-established business is now looking to recruit for a Customs Entry Clerk / Administrator to join their team.On a daily basis your duties will include…• Completing both import and export customs documentation (such as C88 / SAD/ EAD / CFSP / NCTS /EMCS forms)• Submitting accurate documentation onto the company database• Ensuring customers are provided with correct and up to date information on customs procedures• Liaising where necessary with HMRCThe successful candidate will…• Have a background within a similar role• Experience with customs software packages would be advantageous (e.g. Chief, Destin8, ASM, CargoWise, Sequoia, MiC, Spire, Data Freight, SAP)Salary, Hours & Benefits• Circa £22,000 (depending upon experience)• Full time, permanent position• Working hours will be 8 hours a day / 5 days in 7• Pension scheme• Life insurance (following successful probationary period)• Perks Discount• On site free parking• Training and personal development, the support of a management team who encourage your success and the opportunity to work in rapidly growing multilingual organisation.How To Apply!To apply for this fantastic opportunity please click on the link below and attach your most recent and up to date CV.For further information, please contact Laura Bradley, Recruitment Manager REED Procurement & Supply Chain at
