Job Description

My client based in Stockton is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a temp to perm basis Duties include:

  • Follow the approval process for the first off, in-process and last off checks
  • Inspect and gauge product as described in the inspection instruction sheets and gauge standard operating procedures to ensure product complies with specification
  • Use general measurement equipment such as verniers, micrometres and weighing scales
  • Use dedicated measurement devices and equipment such as gloss metres
  • Work closely with the quality engineers and production department in order to maintain acceptable customer standards for quality
  • Being able to communicate effectively at all levels with staff across the business
  • Competent using a computer with the ability to navigate across systems, Microsoft and mailing servers
