If you believe you could do this roleand you are interested in finding out more, we have a body shop manager on-site to explain the role, responsibilities, expectations, bonus as well as OTE earnings with realistic and achievable goals.As a Panel Beater at Drive Motor Retail Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and aesthetics of our customers vehicles. You will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition using a combination of toolsand specialist techniques.Drive Motor Retail is an award-winning Automotive business, representing the Vauxhall, MG, Hyundai and Citroen brands. • Basic Salary £31,500 - OTE expectations £48,000 + with time saved bonuses.
• Sign on Bonus - £1,000 Month 1 and a further £1,000 when you complete your probation, T&C’s apply.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and reshape vehicle panels to remove dents and damage.
• Replace or repair damaged structural parts.
• Align vehicle panels to meet manufacturers specifications.
• Carry out vehicle body repair (Panel Beating) to manufactures standards and in line with company procedures.
• Produce good productivity levels in line with Thatcham repair times.
• Comply with company specific health and safety rules and regulations and ensure the correct PPE is worn/used throughout and report any failings through the reporting procedure.
• Understanding of BSI 10125 Kitemark work requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience within panel beating in an automotive setting.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and also under your own initiative when required.
• Be a well organised individual with excellent time management.
• Demonstrate a desire for self-improvement and enthusiasm to learn new skills including attending training courses both in house and external.
• All ongoing support/training accreditation will be offered by Drive Motor Retail Ltd.
