Our client is an Aston Martin specialist with over 40 years experience, in providing all aspects of the support for the marque from 1950s cars to present day models. With in-house workshops, paint room and trim shop we provide a complete service includingaward winning restoration, servicing, health checks and storage. They also source, buy and sell classic Aston Martins and offer a bespoke service to clients to guide them through the process of purchasing a specific vehicle. They are actively looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Technician with a specialist background in classic cars, preferably Aston Martins, who can join their team of specialist on servicing, restoration and repair work and race preparation. The successfulcandidate will have an eye for detail and pride in their work, along with enthusiasm and professionalism. This post requires a highly skilled and multi skilled engineer with accurate diagnostic abilities and a proven engineering background. They are lookingfor a person who has real passion for their work and a total commitment to the highest of quality.Hours of Work:

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm plus additional hours as and when requested.

Annual Leave Entitlement:

• 20 days plus recognised bank and public holidays.

Job Purpose Summary:

• To provide high quality classic car automotive engineering that consistently meets and exceeds client expectations.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Provide high quality engineering workmanship with attention to detail.
• Be able to diagnose problems on classic cars and advise on car component and engine repair work.
• Be able to expertly repair classic car components and engines.
• Undertake design and fabrication work.
• Able to competently use MIG, TIG and gas welding equipment.
• Provide own engineering equipment to the expected standard.
• Project a professional engineering image.
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Provide a quality client service.
• Has a clean driving licence and is able to competently drive high value, high performance vehicles.
• Adheres to Data Protection Act and company confidentiality policy.
• Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining a good work speed.

Personal Situation and Qualifications:

• Clean driving licence and be able to drive competently and safely
• Able to occasionally work extended working hours as required
• Has a high level of general education and holds relevant occupational qualifications
