Job Description

JOB – Manufacturing / Production Engineer LOCATION – PolesworthTERM - PermanentSALARY – £30,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Manufacturing or Production Engineer on a permanent basis in the Polesworth area with experience in engineering manufacturing. Your main duties will include assisting with new product introduction, tooling, jigs and fixtures managementas well as other manufacturing engineering responsibilities.The Production / Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer

Previous experience in an manufacturing or production engineering role.
Experience In a regulated manufacturing sector e.g. Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Devices or similar sectors.
Capable of introducing / managing tooling jigs and fixtures

Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Exposure to Mechanical manufacturing (machining, turning, CNC and Fabrication) – very advantageous.

The Manufacturing / Production Engineer role will involve:

Oversee introduction of new tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
liaising with design on manufacturability of products.
Helping to optimize the inhouse manufacturing process.
Assist with other members of the business in continuous improvement activities.
