HM Land Registry are recruiting two Transformation Design Managers, to work on a fixed term appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of the role going permanent. This role sits at the heart of HMLRs transformation agenda, working across the business to ensure that business change aligns with the organisations strategic direction, outcomes and ambition.As the Transformation Design Manager, you will be an ambassador for change, working with stakeholders across the business, to ensure that HMLRs strategic priorities are well understood and embedded in change design and delivery.Transformation Design Manager Responsibilities:Working closely with the Transformation Design Lead, providing strategic direction and portfolio oversight for design practitioners, to ensure that products are strategically aligned. You will develop relationships, behaviours, tools, processes and procedures that provide HMLRs leaders to have the most complete and accurate information, allowing them to make the most effective business change decisions possible. You will be pivotal in coaching others within the organisation.You will provide support and guidance in the creation of business cases while reviewing and providing critical feedback on business change proposals. Working collaboratively with members of HMLR’s design community and stakeholders across the business, to manage roadmaps for HMLR’s services (internal and external), channels and customer propositions. You will analyse multiple datasets to assess organisational impact of change, understanding organisational performance metrics to help inform decisions and how to influence change delivery.You will be required to work with other government departments, external organisations and suppliers to identify best practice relevant to HMLR’s business and infuse this in transformation design plans.Transformation Design Manager Requirements:To be successful in this role you will have experience through the various stages of the full project life cycle, including creation/contribution to business cases, with the ability to lead collaborative sessions with a wide range of senior stakeholders, while coaching and influencing others.You will be able to demonstrate experience of matrix managing cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes, be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. You will have the ability to understand complex concepts and communicate these effectively to stakeholders, while demonstrating strong analytical skills.There will be some travel to other HMLR offices, with overnight stays expected, where appropriate.
