Job Description

Lead Teacher of ScienceAre you excelling in the teachingof Science and looking for more ownership over the curriculum and ability to have impact on your students We’re seeking a passionate, highly skilled teacher to lead the Science curriculum. As part of an incredible team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and enhancing the learning experiences of students. Your passion for Science and commitmentto SEND students’ success will make a significant impact.Requirements

  • Qualifications: Your expertise in this subject will need to shine through whilst also demonstrating outstanding pedagogy and adaptability.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for introducing SEND students to the wide range of Science skills and knowledge.
  • Professional Development: We are looking for someone who is focused on building themselves. Our excellent CPD offer ensures that all teachers, regardless of experience, can develop and improve.
As the Lead Teacher of Science, your role involves:
  1. Student Achievement: Collaborate within the Science department to enhance student achievement.
  2. Departmental Development: Lead the ongoing development initiatives within the department.
  3. Curriculum Delivery: Teach the Science curriculum to students at key stages 3 and 4, up to GCSE level.
  4. Enrichment and Support: Support enrichment activities and intervention programs within the Science department
