Here at HM Land Registry, we have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Analyst / Senior Performance Analyst to join our award-winning Digital, Data, and Technology Directorate at any of our 14 office locations.This is a permanent position and can be full-time, job share, or part-time. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £33,839 - £42,099 per annum.In line with current government guidance, the role will initially be home-based so induction and training will be carried out remotely, with full support from the team. In these roles, you will analyse the performance of digital services provided by the Digital, Data, and Technology directorate. You will also help deliver management information in the directorate and contribute to, and attend, service assessments with the Government Digital Service.In addition, as the Senior Performance Analyst, you will provide coaching and support to Performance Analysts as they establish performance measures and will play an active part in HMLR and cross-government analytical community.To meet the requirements of the Performance Analyst, you will have experience of:- Applying a range of techniques to analyse data and provide insight- Understanding the appropriate media to communicate findings- Shaping and sharing communications appropriately for the audience.- Determining which performance measurements are appropriate, with guidance from more experienced colleagues- Identifying appropriate ways to collect, collate and prepare data, and decide if data is accurate and fit for purpose- Exploring and analysing data using languages such as SQL, R, or PythonTo meet the requirements of the Senior Performance Analyst, in addition to all the above you will have additional experience of:- Leading on scoping analysis with stakeholders and identifying appropriate techniques from a range of options- Applying a range of techniques to analyse data and provide insight- Turning complex data into compelling, clear, and actionable stories- Communicating negative and positive information to stakeholders of a range of seniority- Giving tactical and strategic recommendations.- Taking the lead on the development of performance measurement frameworks- Demonstrating a deep understanding of business goals, turning these into tangible performance measures- Specifying and setting data collection systems, and ensuring the quality of others’ analysis- Exploring and analysing data using languages such as SQL, R, or Python.Benefits of becoming our Performance Analyst / Senior Performance Analyst: We offer very competitive terms, conditions, and benefits.
