Here at HM Land Registry, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of User Research to join the team at any of our 14 office locations.This is a permanent position and can be full-time, job share, or part-time. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £52,667 - £56,694 per annum.In line with current government guidance, the role will initially be home-based so induction and training will be carried out remotely, with full support from the team. Using your strategic oversight, you will ensure there is sufficient capability and capacity in the user research practice to meet our current change portfolio, culture, and Business Strategy now and in the future.You will be responsible for ensuring that the user research community of practice is active and brings measurable value to community members and the organisation.What we’re looking for in our Head of User Research:- Extensive experience and proven understanding of a range of user-centered and agile approaches will be essential- An expert understanding of the diversity of users of government services and the implications for service design and delivery- Experience of aligning user research activities at an organisational level to create strategic insights that inform organisational decision making is key as well as experience of leading and growing user research practice and capability- A skilled planner, implementer, and leader of change, with experience of working across organisational boundaries you will communicate effectively with stakeholders to build influence and credibilityBenefits of becoming our Head of User Research: We offer very competitive terms, conditions, and benefits.
