Job Description

Do you want to be responsible for ensuring that the performance analysis community of practice is active and brings measurable value to community members and the organisation As well as managing the organisation’s performance analysis capability and leading the Performance Analysis team, you will work with lead and senior performance analysts to set the strategy and define the framework for quality assurance within performance analysis.As an expert with extensive performance analysis experience gained in an agile, digital operating environment, you will be a role model and advocate for the practice within HM Land Registry, government and in industry. You will represent performance analysis, promoting it across government and externally at events and building relationships high profile stakeholders like Government Digital Service (GDS) and Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).You will also ensure there is sufficient capability and capacity in the performance analysis practice, supporting the professional development and continuous improvement of both individuals and the community to meet both current and future needs.It is a very exciting time to join us as we continue on a major digital transformation programme. You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.Our existing software systems form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion, enabling over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be secured against property across England and Wales.As the Head of Performance Analysis, you will ensure that the people in performance analysis roles have the appropriate skills, capability and support to be effective in their roles; as well as access to learning and development to help them progress and to meet the organisation’s current change portfolio, culture and Business Strategy, now and in the future.As Head of Practise, you will continually develop the performance analysis function, lead on new ways of working and adopting common professional approaches to ensure responsiveness to business needs and to maximise the value and effectiveness of the function, whilst ensuring that the performance analysis community of practice is active and brings measurable value to community members and the organisation.Head of Performance Analytics Requirements:To be effective in this role, you will have extensive performance analysis experience gained within a multi-disciplinary team in a digital and agile organisation, along with significant experience of using a range of performance analysis tools, techniques and technologies. You will also have experience of setting performance measurement frameworks across multiple projects aligning to business needs and strategy and providing insight and analysis that informs evidence-based decision making at a strategic level.You have experience of leading the practice and capability and proven ability to coach and share your own experience of being a high performing performance analyst. In addition, you are a skilled and experienced planner, implementer and leader of change with experience of working across organisational boundaries and can communicate effectively with stakeholders to build influence and credibility.In line with current government guidance, the role will initially be home based so an induction and training will be carried out remotely, with full support from the team.
