Here at HM Land Registry we have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Assurance Adviser to join our team based across all 14 of our office locations.Joining on a Job share, Full-time or Part-time basis you will receive a competitive salary of £33,175 per annum (Croydon £36,559).Our office locations are: Birkenhead, North West, CH41 6DU : Croydon, London, CR0 2AQ : Coventry, West Midlands, CV1 3BH : Durham, North East, DH1 5TR : Weymouth, South West, DT4 9TT : Gloucester, South West, GL1 1DQ : Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire and the Humber, HU2 8JN : Leicester, East Midlands, LE3 5DR : Nottingham, East Midlands, NG1 7AU : Peterborough, Eastern, PE1 1QF : Plymouth, South West, PL6 5WS : Preston, North West, PR4 1TE : Swansea, Wales, SA7 9FQ : Telford, West Midlands, TF3 4LRIts an exciting time to join us, as HM Land Registry (HMLR) is committed to becoming the world’s leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data, and aiming to achieve comprehensive registration by 2030.We are looking to appoint to the role of Cyber Security Assurance Adviser, as part of our Legal and Assurance Directorate, sitting within Risk and Assurance.As Cyber Security Assurance Adviser you will be responsible for providing assurance that HM Land Registry (HMLR) remains compliant with international standards, industry best practices, regulation and government policy.The role can be based at any of our 14 locations, but frequent travel to Plymouth with overnight stays will be required.Responsibilities of our Cyber Security Assurance Adviser include:Fundamental to this role is the ability to deliver a cyber security assurance programme for HM Land Registry, which meets internal and external requirements and supports effective management of HMLR information security risks.You will provide assurance on suitability and effectiveness of quality assurance policies and practices throughout current and developing IT services.You will be expected to advise relevant stakeholders on any residual risk, aligning with relevant regulation, policy and standards to provide proportional, practical advice, tailored to the strategic environment.You will deliver informed, evidence-based recommendations to decision-makers with a means of mitigating security risk and managing issues.Undertaking investigative and research activity, you will liaise with broader stakeholders as required to identify incidents compromising HMLR information integrity, on behalf of and as directed by management.Supporting policy decisions on the pragmatic approach to Cyber Security Assurance for both day to day operations and solutions development, you will work closely with stakeholders in Digital, Data & Technology Directorate (DDaT) and the wider organisation as appropriate.What we’re looking for in our Cyber Security Assurance Adviser:Internationally recognised compliance/assurance professional qualifications, for example:- ISO27001 Auditor- CISA: Certified Information Security Auditor- NCSC Certification for Cyber Security/IA Professionals (CCP) Senior as an Accreditor, Auditor, or Security Information Risk AdvisorBenefits of becoming our Cyber Security Assurance Adviser: We offer very competitive terms, conditions and benefits.
