Job Description

Manpower is working with an established Plymouth company who have an immediate requirement for a CNC Miller to join their busy teamThe Role - Fully skilled and competent CNC MillerThe Candidate -

  • Someone with a strong background in engineering manufacturing is required, ideally someone who has had at least five years of experience.
  • You must have previous experience working in a precision engineering setting.
  • The capacity to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications to ensure that all components are within specific tolerances
  • Excellent understanding of geometric tolerances and symbols
  • Experience with grinding and turning would be advantageous
  • Experience working to tight tolerances is required
What youll be doing
  • Setting up, operating, and programming several XYZ Prototrak and LPM CNC milling machines to create unique, low-volume components from a variety of materials.
  • Making use of inspection tools to confirm that all dimensions, geometric tolerances, and surface polish specifications are satisfied.
  • According to ISO45001 and ISO9001:2015 criteria
