Job Description

Care Home ManagerI am working with a local Care home to recruit for a new Home Manager who ideally has been a RGN, but this is not essential.My client takes pride in providing high quality care to residents across all of the homes they have.All our residents are individuals and they must be treated with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and championing independence. We ensure every day is a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.The Role:Home ManagerJob Overview:An exciting new opportunity has arisen for the position of Home Manager. The candidate should have the right attitude, skills, and knowledge and will share our passion for putting the needs and well-being of our residents first, to deliver the best qualitycare experience.As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational day to day management, and the 24-hour smooth running of the home, so the best standards of care are always promoted and maintained. You will be asked to provide outstandingand personalised care to all residents and to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team.About You:We are looking for individuals who:

  • can create, strengthen, and maintain excellent relationships with local governing bodies and ensure that systems and processes are in place to achieve compliance with CQC and the other Regulators.
  • Have a passion for providing person centred care
  • A successful track record of developing and motivating teams to deliver outstanding care
  • Excellent organisational and management skills
  • Care home management, marketing and occupancy experience
  • RGN experince with existing PIN - not essential
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC and compliance guidelines
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Experience creating strong links within the local community
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.Experience / Qualification:The successful candidate will have significant experience of care home management.NVQ level 5 or equivalent qualification, or willing to work towardsGood communication skills are essential to liaise with the residents’ families, friends, GP, community nurses, specialist, pharmacists, local authorities, local councils, voluntary bodies and any other associations related to the care for the elderly.
