Job Description

You will take ownership for Network and Cyber Security teams based in the UK and France, managing their delivery of BAU support and project workYou will be responsible for the WAN and LAN and Wifi networks, satellite networks, Cyber security, debt reduction and continuity planning. As well as the overarching cultural shift to integrate these teams together effectively.Client DetailsAnother Bi-lingual requirement as my Plymouth based travel/tourism client requires a Network Manager who is fluent in French and English to support their continued technical, strategic and cultural development.Description

  • Support the departments overall IT strategy
  • Monitor, develop and improve the groups security and and Network infrastructure
  • Technologically reduce the Groups debt
  • Optimise costs on contracts
  • Harmonise the security of networks and cyber
  • Harmonise management on sites (process)
  • Manage internal/external resources
  • Support the department in the digital transformation
  • Optimise network and cyber activities
  • Ensure that documentation on installations and configurations and management rules are up to date and known to the actors and are secure
    • ProfileTechnical Knowledge:
  • Network technologies (WAN, LAN and Wifi networks (Cisco), firewalls (Checkpoint), satellite network, Cyber security protocols and best practice, security patches).
  • Systems architecture
  • IT security standards
  • Crisis management
    • Experience:
  • university level or masters degree/engineer level
  • 10+ years experience
  • Network engineer training, telecomms/cyber security
  • General background of demonstrable IT technical skills: servers, network, office automation,
  • Management of international teams
  • Project management (summary, planning, budget etc)
  • Audit and recommendations on a large production scope (network, cyber, infrastructure, cloud etc.)
  • English language and French language (minimum level required: fluent, in order to manage a Franco-English team: conduct annual reviews, lead meetings, defend and manage projects)
