Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the property industry We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hybrid Agency Assistant to join a highly respected and long-established property agent in Plymouth on a maternity cover contractof up to 15 months. With a competitive salary range of up to £22,000, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and be part of a supportive and dynamic team.A hybrid arrangement between office and home is acceptable following an initial office-based training period. You will be required to be in the office for a minimum of two days per week, more may be required depending on workload.TargetsTo deal with all tasks required by the commercial agency team, as detailed below.Tasks

  • Liaising with others to facilitate the opening of files, invoicing, preparation of particulars.
  • All agency pilot duties - putting properties on, mailing out, doing details, doing heads of terms, updating contacts, inputting viewings.
  • Answering calls and returning calls for general enquiries.
  • Ordering property advertising boards.
  • Organising inspections and viewings
  • Formatting reports
  • Liaising with others to facilitate Anti Money Laundering checks.
  • Organising EPCs
  • General admin duties
  • Viewings
  • Obtaining comparables and presenting in a suitable format
  • Chasing deals with guidance from the fee earners
  • Ensuring the key system is up to date
Skills
  • Extremely confident phone manner - able to discuss properties and input requirements effectively into pilot, following training.
  • Very good IT skills - working knowledge of Office 365 to enable formatting in word, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Enjoys working in a team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience within a property business preferred but not essential.
  • Previous secretarial or administrative experience is essential.
  • Driving licence and car to undertake viewings. You will be paid for your work mileage.
