Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Security Officer / Security Guardto work within a College based in Plaistow, East London.Hours of work are 40hours per week, Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5..30pm.The role pays £12.50 per hour.Duties will include:General security duties including meeting and greeting students, staff, contractors and visitors to the College, intelligence gathering in order to prevent and diffuse situations before they occur, body and bag searching, crowd control, access control, sitepatrols, intervening in and diffusing incidents, car park monitoring, incident report writingand all other security duties as required.Interested applicants should have a valid Door Supervisor Licence, be committed and dedicated to the role, be passionate about working with young people and enhancing their learning experience by ensuring they feel safe in the College, have common sense,previous security experience, be happy for Reed to carry out anEnhanced DBS checkand have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.If you are interested in a security guard role within a professional working environment working with highly experienced colleagues, please apply now.By choosing to work for REED you are joining a team that knows it is people who make a difference.
