Job Description

Join us on the Journey... National Express are looking to recruit an Operations Assistant, based at our Pensnett Garage, on a part time basis. The successful candidate willsupport the operations team providing cover as per the demands of the relief cover of Vault Handling, Cash Counting and CCTV operatives across multiple sites.Part time - 30 hours per week (either 4 or 5 days per week, dependant on shift pattern) and will also require working across our Pensnett and Wolverhampton garages.What youll do:

Complete on a daily basis the vault control sheet utilised to record the daily vault loading and devaulting process ensuringany loose coinage located in the vault housing is recorded on a vaultcontrol sheet
Comply with the Cash Handling Policy and related SSOW and SOPs in relation to the role that is beingcovered
Maintenance, reporting and repair of cash vaults, maintain good housekeeping and conform to H&Sregulations
Maintainaccurate records of the cash collected daily in accordance with internal Audit procedures
Ensure that the CCTV procedure for the Company is adhered to at all times
Assist in the implementation of the CCTV systems across operations, ensuring that the procedure isfollowed and meets the legal requirements of the Data Protection Act, GDPR and the CCTV code of practice, whilst maintaining the strict confidentiality ofthe images
Investigate CCTV evidence and assist the Police and the operations team in any investigations
Any other duties and responsibilities as required which are reasonably comparable in accordance withthe conditions appertaining to the post and to meet operational requirements

What youll need:

Excellent attention to detail
Good numeracy skills
Computer literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
Flexible in approach to hours and days of work as the role covers a 24 hour operation, seven days a week.
Manual Handling Training will be provided
