Job Description

Learning and Development ManagerPaying up to £50k14-month FTCFully remote workingAre you a passionate and self-motivated Learning & Development professional looking for a new role Have you worked within a Global business previously and are happy taking on a Fixed Term Contract role to cover maternity If so, please get in touch.Im partnering with a professional services client looking for a Learning & Development Manager to the support the Head of L&D to design and deliver group wide learning programmes and interventions with a focus on developing skills and nurturing talent withinthe business.You will be tasked with delivering engaging solutions to the learners though a variety of channels. These programmes should underpin the values and behaviours of company culture, support skill development and align all learning for colleagues to performanceimprovement. This person will be accountable for the Performance Development Cycle and reporting.Key responsibilities of the Learning and Development Manager:* Work as a Business Partner with Heads of People across all countries to enable the development of successful group learning solutions.* To manage and develop the team and local training teams/facilitators to ensure role model behaviour and best in class service to the business.* Design and implement initiatives such as technical training, induction, volunteering programmes, Continuous Professional Development, talent programmes, eLearning and mentoring schemes across all business areas using a variety of channels.* Using the LMS (Talentsoft) to maintain and evolve the training catalogue, working with the business to ensure specific knowledge-based training materials developed locally are merged into the training catalogue for all user types.* Deliver the annual PDD cycle, analyse results of the PDD and Talent Module to develop the annual training plan, with input from Heads of People and Talent Manager.* Responsible for all training and PDD reporting, delivery and ongoing development of new reporting solutions.* Design and deliver technical training, behavioural, regulatory and leadership and management development programmes, which support business growth/strategies from junior to mid and senior levels.* Provide bespoke one to one coaching and development as identified.* Devise digital learning technologies to support learning and development. Support and respond to questionnaires as required.* To provide methodology for evaluation of success of all learning programmes and interventions.* Deliver the annual training plan, against all identified milestones and objectives. Deliver any new projects identified and agreed upon throughout the year, to be documented as part of the PDD cycle.Key requirements for the Learning and Development Manager:* Proven experience within a learning and development role, preferably within a financial services or professional services environment with international experience.* Experience of working within a highly regulated environment would be desirable.* You will be experienced in successfully designing, delivering, and scheduling training seminars.* You must have a good working knowledge of MS packages whilst being proficient with IT and LMS systems (preferably TalentSoft)* Strong influencing and communication skills.* Strong stakeholder management.* Able to prepare clear and concise documents, such as report writing, presentations and present arguments verbally in a persuasive manner; tailored appropriately for the audience.* Proven experience of designing and delivering training programmes for all levels.* Experience in facilitating and leading learning programmes.* Business partnering experience in a global company, ideally within an EU setting.* Experience of managing relationships within a complex environment.* Proven experience of developing and delivering blended learning solutions* CIPD or equivalent to degree level for learning and development, or significant experience within a similar role.If you are interested in this Learning and Development Manager and feel your experience matches the criteria, then please apply now for immediate consideration or for more information please contact Kerry Norman.Medlock Partners are a professional services recruitment specialist operating across the Northwest of England.
