Job Description

Kickstart your engineering career with Fumetec Ltd. We are looking for a dedicated Fitters Mate to work alongside and learn from our lead engineer.Fitters MateMust be based within 10 miles of Manchester, M27

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • Salary £22,000 per year + overtime
  • Travel required, expenses paid
Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKFumetec Ltd are looking for a fitters mate to support our experienced lead engineer installing Fume Cupboards & Associated Ductwork systems.The role is Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.For the most part, you will be working at clients’ sites across the UK. However, you may be required to work at the factory if site-work is not available. All training provided by the lead engineer.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading provider of specialist products to the Education, Industrial and Pharmaceutical sectors.There is huge potential for career progression. Fumetec are willing to invest in the right person, who we hope, will ultimately become the next leading engineer to install our products.Salary and Benefits
  • £22,000 per year with average of 15 hours overtime @ 1.5 per week.
  • Expenses paid.
  • Pension scheme available after 6 months service.
  • Holidays - 26 days per annum plus bank holidays.
  • PPE provided.
About You
  • Bright, enthusiastic, reliable, conscientious, and willing to learn.
  • Minimum 3 x GCSEs (C+)
