Job Description

Commitment: Full-timeLocation: BridgendTeam: Account ManagementSalary: £23,00Career OpportunityTo help launch a number of exciting new products and services, as well as providing some much-needed support for our Account Management team, we are actively seeking a person to join our company as an Account Associate, based at our Head Office in Bridgend. Reporting to the Head of Account Management, you will be actively involved in achieving our ambitious growth objectives, whilst helping to ensure the success of the new services due to launch at the start of 2021. You will be working as part of an exciting Account Management team, working on the success of new products and services ROCK are planning to launch and helping the team to achieve their ambitious goals. Success is engrained into everything we do, and to ensure this we offer training, coaching, mentoring and leadership to ensure you are successful. Our team offers a number of progression paths, as well as exposure to several exciting products and services. In return, we ask for you to have a passion for technology, a drive to succeed and have the passion and determination to learn and develop your own skills. You Will Be Responsible For

  • Providing sales support to the Account Managers, through taking on sales activities as required. This will include the sales of IT components, peripherals, security solutions, email solutions, as well as cloud technologies
  • Achieve sales targets set out to the Account Associate team, working in collaboration with other associates to achieve the sales objectives set out to you
  • To launch new products and services into ROCK’s varied client base, generating exciting and creating sales opportunities for our new products
  • Actively contributing to the success of ROCK’s new services, including cutting edge cloud technology and security solutions, as well as enhancements to our support services
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Supporting the success of contract renewals and retentions
  • Providing additional support to the Account Management team as required
  • Key RequirementsWe are looking for someone with a passion and understanding for technology, backed up by experience in a similar role or in a similar education sector. You must have previous sales experience, ideally within the technology industry with a well-rounded IT knowledge. You will have good people skills, be a confident speaker and professional in your approach. You will be commercially minded, and be a good team player. Knowledge of immerging technologies and working practices, such as Innovation & Development, Agile working, IoT and Cloud is highly desired, as we want the best, most innovative thinkers to support our future ambitions.
