We also work to pioneer the latest ground-breakingmanufacturing processes of the future through the Advanced Manufacturing Research Operations Centre.About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, supportive, and collaborative working environment that can off development, job security and financial reward.As a technician based at Sony you will be responsible for the daily running, maintenance and breakdown cover of all production machinery or equipment.General roles can include:

Inspecting equipment to identify any issues or faults
Repairs and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
Recommending and installing upgrades to improve efficiency or functionality
Staying updated in their field to learn new techniques or technologies

Essential Requirements:

Mechanical or electrically qualified - minimum Level 3
Ability to make engineering and technical change decisions to improve quality, efficiency to the benefit of the business
Able to communicate at all levels throughout the business
A strong team player with a positive attitude towards achieving schedules
Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility
Problem solving
Strong sense of accountability, willingness to develop new skills and demonstrate flexibility when the operation in general requires support

Desirable Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing
Good aptitude for complex and technical operations
Inquisitive mindset with a drive to find opportunities for improvement

Hours of Work:

Full time (3 shift pattern: Week 1 05.45 to 14:00; Week 2 13:45 to 22:00; Week 3 21:45 to 06:00)
Full time (2shift pattern: days/nights rotation over 3-week period)
