Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, youll have the opportunityto craft bespoke automation solutions, leverage the latest technologies, and contribute to award-winning manufacturing facilities.Key Responsibilities:

Develop bespoke Automation solutions
Research latest technologies and ideas and develop them for use in the production environment
Liaising with internal and external companies to manufacture designs
Building, test and debugging equipment designs and control circuits
Adhering to company procedures and producing the necessary documentation to ensure this is achieved
Produce documentation in accordance with required safety standards
Work within a cross discipline engineering team, communicate best practices, ideas and project updates to the team, team leader and senior management

Person Specification:The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate ideas clearly to others, be well organized, self-motivated, have strong sense of accountability and be able to work well under pressure. They will have an innovative approach to design with goodanalytical abilities and leadership skills.Essential Criteria:

Experience in Mechanical Engineering
knowledge of Electrical/ Electronic circuits
Experience of Project Management / Schedule Setting
Excellent Understanding of Manufacturing Equipment Safety Requirement

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge in Robotics
Knowledge of PLC Programming
Knowledge of 3D CAD Design, preferably SolidWorks/ AutoCAD Inventor
Knowledge of PUWER / COSHH regs

Contract/ Hours: Permanent (7.30am -30pm M-Th, 7.30am - 12pm F)

Reports to: Lead Engineer
