Job Description

Career OpportunityDue to our (HUGE) growth plans we are the lookout for a Content and Proposal Writer to join our company.This is another great permanent opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic, and creative Content Writer to join our award-winning business.The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, publishing, and managing all written content for bid management and proposal functions. The role requires collaborating closely with a large number of contributors across the company in order to create exceptional content to win large scale tenders.You Will Be Responsible For

  • Delivering completed written proposal responses against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.
  • Be involved in storyboard sessions with bid / proposal team members and key contributors and subject matter experts.
  • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
  • Re-writing / editing proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, technical / product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.
  • Presenting all new proposal content to the knowledge base manager for potential re-use.
  • Communicating at a senior level.
    • Key Requirements
  • Must have proven, hands-on experience of writing for a B2B audience.
  • Ability to write a variety of content, particularly long-form, in-depth pieces.
  • Able to conduct research in a thorough and methodical way in order to produce credible content.
  • Creative thinker who’s not afraid to put forward ideas.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage workload, timescales and stakeholders.
  • Experience in IT industry preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
  • Strong written English language skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
