Job Description

Finance Controller - International | Cardiff | HybridRobert Half are exclusively partnering with a prestigious growing group, to recruit a dynamic and driven Finance Controller to manage and lead a small yet growing Finance team based in Cardiff.This role will be home based 80% of the time, so you need to be a self-starter and able to hit the ground running. Applicants should be based within commuting distance of Cardiff.The group is currently going through its growth stage and establishing itself globally. Following this there will be amazing internal job opportunities, to Financial Director level, to support this organisations finance function on a Global level.Were looking for progressive individuals to want to make an impact, continue to learn and develop.As the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of monthly accounts for all our sites,
  • Production of annual financial statements in the UK and responding to auditor queries
  • Oversight of month end finance processes, including payroll.
  • Liaising with local professionals in each country to ensure annual accounts, payroll etc are processed in compliance with local laws.
  • Working closely with senior staff at our international sites to ensure budgets and cash flow forecasts are accurate and well understood.
The successful Finance Controller will be:
  • Must be a Qualified Accountant, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Have experience of line/ people management.
  • Full month end exposure: management accounts, external audit, systems knowledge, and controls improvements.
  • Be ambitious! You will want to progress into a Finance Director position.
Package Details & Benefits:
  • Base salary ~ £55,000 - £70,000
  • 30 holidays PLUS UK bank holidays
