We are: Defined by Family Victoria House Day Nursery & Preschool who are part of the Family First Group are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team. Within thisrole you will be responsible for a designated group of children as a key person and will guide the children through the daily routine, liaise with parents and provide an enabling environment. Our nursery is open from 7.30am - 18:30pm and we would require youto be able to work varied shift patterns between those times, 40 hours per week. We have three beautiful rooms for the children to work there way through whilst growing up and we have a great outdoor space for the children to learn about nature. As NurseryPractitioner, you will: Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFSare met. Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine. Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families. Maintainstrictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures. Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily whencolleagues are absent. Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures. *Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive orrestrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added. As Nursery Practitioner, you will need: Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Over 1 years experience of workingin Early Years - desirable Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable Family First benefits include annual leave starting at 24 days on top of a paid birthday day off and bank holidays.
