Job Description

Reed Engineering is excited to announce that they are working with an FMCG business who specialise in Fresh Produce and are home to some of the biggest names in the UK. They have modern and state of the art facilities.We are working with them to recruit for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, yourrole is key in assisting the Operations teams in achieving maximum productivity by minimising downtime through plant maintenance, repairs and improvement.As the business is expanding, they seek a reliable high-calibre maintenance engineer.Responsibilities:

Complete fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to the highest standards, maximising equipment reliability and performance.
Participate in the installation of new equipment or movement of existing equipment as required, in line with agreed timescales and to manufacturer’s standard.
Respond to requests for assistance, carry out fault finding, problem-solving, establish route cause fixes and address equipment and building issues.
Replace parts where necessary and assemble machines within agreed timescales and in line with manufacturer’s standard.

Skills and experience include:

Have demonstrable skill, knowledge and previous experience as a qualified multi-skilled engineer
Have a minimum of HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Have current electrical wiring standards and industrial machine control along with safety circuit knowledge and experience.

Shifts:

40 hours per week, weekend working on a rota basis.
5 on 2 off shift pattern
5.30am – 2pm, 1.30pm – 10pm
