Job Description

TPF Recruitment are supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their experienced team across a general accounts and tax role.As an Accounts and Tax Manager, you will report directly into the partners and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Woodand also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. This is a great position with an excellent firm with a modern culture who promote an excellent work life balance. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.You will be responsible for:

  • Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership and personal tax returns
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns
  • Managing your client portfolio and client relations
  • Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
  • Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required
Requirements You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.Benefits
  • £40,000 - £50,000, based on experience
