Job Description

The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join a well established Hotel located in the Gower Peninsula, Swansea.Contract: Permanent Salary: £13.00ph Hours of work: Full timeRole Summary: To assist in leading a team of Housekeeping team members to deliver the very best standards of cleanliness and presentation for our guests at all times in all areas of the hotel.Role Responsibilities:

Perform all cleaning tasks across public areas and function rooms & accommodation rooms in a timely manner.
Ensuring housekeeping team members complete all cleaning tasks to an acceptable standard.
Report maintenance problems to the housekeeping Lead.
Recognise the importance of communication, actively holding a morning brief meeting and monthly team meetings.
Budget Management of all consumables, cleaning materials and laundry.
Collect all lost property and ensure it is delivered to the Housekeeping room and inform the housekeeping lead.
Ensure all equipment is used correctly, cleaned after use, emptied (I.e. vacuums), filled (I.e. Chemical sprays) and stored correctly. All broken or damaged equipment must be reported to the housekeeping lead.
Assist with the stocking of each area including cleaning materials, leaving storage areas tidy and ready for use the following shift.
Ensure all chemical and fire/evacuation policies are always followed.

Previous experience within a similar role is essential. Ideally you will drive due to the clients remote location.
