Job DescriptionThe CompanyFresh Produce business making ready and despatching food parcels to the private and public sector in and around Cambridgeshire and Home Counties.We are searching fora a prep room assistantto assist our partner located in the Village of Over. This role has the potential to be long term but is a school term time only position.Roles and responsibilities -Making ready fresh fruit and veg.Potato peelingChopping of veg such as Parsnips andCarrotsMaterial handling and stacking of produce on to trolleys to allow couriers to pick andloadAny other reasonable request made bymanagementSuitable candidate-A year in a comparable role preferable but not essentialFood prep knowledge in Kitchen or elsewhere beneficialSolid Worker, Motivated and comfortable working independentlyDependable ,an early riser and flexible when the role requiresAn understanding of English language to meet H and S necessitiesUnderstandingCandidate would likely need a drivers licence to get to the location at the time required or at least live close by.Salary - £10 p/h)30 hours per week spread over 3daysMonday,Friday and Saturday40 hours per week Spread over 4 daysMonday,Thursday, Friday, Saturday6am-4pm (approx)Some flexibility will occasionally be needed due to the nature of therolebut any extra hours will be paid, and the client does pay for breaks,This is perhaps a suitable opportunity for a parent whose child is at school as it is only in term time but of course, all applications will be considered.
