With 25,000+ colleagues across the globe and 15,000+ Kerry products, your opportunities are limitless.About the roleWe have a great opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technicianat our Kerry site in Ossett, close to Leeds, West Yorkshire.It is a full-time, permanent position with rotating days and nights, 12 hours shifts, Monday to Friday.At Kerry Ossett, we manufacture a variety of butters and spreads, including dairy-free products. As the Quality Controller, you will collaborate with different teams on-site to ensure that products manufactured in our Kerry Ossett facility consistently conformto industry, company, and consumer expectations. Your responsibilities will include meticulously inspecting finished products, holding, and segregating any items that do not meet specified standards, as well as contributing to minimizing costs while maximizingproduction efficiency.What’s in it for you

What will you be doingYour responsibilities as Quality Assurance Technicianwill include:
  • Conducting quality inspections on finished products, including metal detection, weights coding and labelling.
  • Performing recurring inspections such as the Kerry unique Golden 6 inspection, hygiene assessments, and assessments related to Glass & Perspex.
  • Distributing and reporting on relevant quality and food safety KPIs.
  • Communicating with shift managers and the technical department regarding any issues that may impact product quality or safety.
  • Providing concise and accurate information to support quality related investigations.
  • Adhering to food safety, health and safety, and environmental standards.
  • Facilitating and coordinating the lineside taste panel.
  • Promoting a safety-first and quality-always culture.
What do you need to be successful
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with QC testing equipment.
  • Desire to work in a quality role.
  • Ability to prioritise workload according to business needs.
  • Great level of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Confidence and ability to make decisions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in using computer programs such as Excel, OAL, ICCS and SAP.
