H3O are a leading provider of software solutions used for tracking and tracing materials predominantly in the food manufacturing industry. Clients include major international household brands and its Khi-Ro software is used in the manufacture of various well known products ranging from Pet foods to Pizza and Breakfast Cereals to Chocolate bars.The software project engineer is responsible for working on customer facing projects to deliver solutions using the Khi-Ro product set. As part of this role you will additionally be required to conduct customer and end user training as well as gathering requirements for production of project specifications. You will also work closely with the account manager to help him produce quotations.You will also be responsible for the support of existing customer implementations as well as developing feature enhancements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Understand and be responsible for development of working technical solutions using the Khi-Ro product setProduce quality customer documentation and training guidesProviding support on the products. (with occasional out of hours on-call cover)Work closely with senior management, understanding customer requirements and delivering projects on time and on budgetAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:Identify areas for improvement and make constructive suggestions for changeContinually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfactionEnsure consistency of existing systems by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutionsBusiness awareness: specific knowledge of the customer and how Khi-Ro products relate to their business strategy and goalsKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
