Job Description

Interim Finance Manager roleContract Duration- 3monthsMAIN JOB PURPOSE:Support accurate and consistent Financial Reporting and Forecasting in the Retails Business UnitMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Develop a deep understanding in the business areas that you hold responsibility for reporting on.
  • Assist with the consolidation of Retail division reporting
  • Manage the production and presentation of accurate and timely management account information
  • Assist in annual planning process for Retail, providing detailed review
  • Develop and maintain effective and efficient Financial Control processes
  • Manage the team data security reporting
  • Line management of 1-2 direct reports
  • Managing audit process to include full liaison with external auditors
  • Deputise for Senior Manager when necessary.
METHODS OF ASSESSING PERFORMANCE
  • Stakeholders are managed effectively, and deadlines met sponsors updated on project progress, key risks and issues.
  • Proactively seeks process improvement
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting across IDO Finance
  • Champion the controls framework in IDO Finance
  • Active learner, keeps up to date with developments in your technical and professional area of expertise
  • Proactive team management
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • ACCA or CIMA Qualified
  • Previous experience managing direct report/s to include supporting with professional development, reviews, 1-2-1s
  • Audit or practice background
  • Strong work ethic, high standards of self, able to be flexible and adaptable in order to get the job done and ability to work under pressure when deadlines approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including time management, task prioritisation for self and others and self-motivation.
  • Good inter-personal skills at all levels.
