Job Description

Our client is a highly successful retail business delivering fashion at the right price.They are a fast paced and evolving business and a very exciting place to work as they continue to expand.Due to continued growth with their online presence, they are now looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who will develop, own, and implement social media strategy across all their brands and lead and develop their social media team and harness theironline presence to maximise commerciality.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a UK and International social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
  • Create relevant and timely content for the UK and International social media channels, with a heavy focus on Instagram, ensuring all content is on brand and in the correct tone of voice
  • Oversee and lead all social media channels such as FB, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest etc
  • Lead team brainstorms and idea generation for content, campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Co-ordinate with content team to write engaging blog posts and articles
  • Create engaging multimedia content such as videos and gifs
  • Ensure business wide content is distributed timely through organic social media (Blog, new product launches, store openings etc)
  • Track and report on revenue of organic postings
  • Ensuring all posts and pages (UK & INT) are functioning and tagging correctly (UTM, Facebook shop, Instagram shop) Plus making sure product is current and ensure the brand tone and messaging is clear throughout territories
  • Manage and oversee the blogger strategy, process, and communication nationally and internationally
  • Frequently look for on brand new and up and coming bloggers/influencers to partner withmonitoring competitor relationships
  • Manage and implement blogger events and competitions to drive brand awareness, content, and gain followers
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
  • Must have experience of working in a fashion retail social media role
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms, front, and back end, and how best to use them
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Passion for the brand and the customer with a strong understanding of the demands of the customer
  • Highly motivated and a desire to be the best with proven ability to work well as a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace with loyalty and commitment to the business.
