JOB OVERVIEW We are looking for a Fire and/or Security Engineer with a can-do, value-adding attitude to come onboard in our small but growing team.Want to help shape a growing businessThe ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and professional. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems not creating them! The role would suit someone who is looking for a diverse mix of service, small works and installation. No 2 days areoften the same, with a view of taking responsibility for projects moving forwards.The opportunity presents good progression opportunities with the right candidates appetite to progress and takes more responsibility for the small works and projects. Training will also be provided for those with a fantastic attitude to learning, developing,and progressing themselves where required.We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5 years of experience and requires a strong security background. Full, clean UK driving license. The role will require travelling and possibly (but infrequent) nights away. Travel paid after 45 mins each way 20days plus 8 Bank Holidays Overtime AvailableROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of Fire Alarms and Security Systems- Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control - Installation, Service and Maintenance- Plan and organize schedule to ensure that duties are carried out with efficiency in mind- Complete all relevant documentation and records, in an accurate and timely manner to the required standards- Take an active part in the call out rota as/when requiredPREFERRED SKILLS - Excellent communication skills - written and verbal- Be able to work independently at times and as part of a team on larger works- Able to multi-task and prioritise workload- Work to set deadlines- Able to use initiative and take proactive approach- Desire to learn Fire and or Security with industry-leading training and support- Want to make a difference in a small but growing team!ADDITIONAL NOTESTypical System manufacturers:- Advanced/Kentec- Pyronix/Texecom/Galaxy- Net2- Hik Vision
