Job Description

Van Delivery DriverWORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 : 5AM - 7AM STARTSPay Rate:£13.37 Per Hour Monday - Saturday £14.49 Per Hour Sunday £15.36 Per Hour after 40 hours £18.44 Per Hour Bank HolidaysWhats in it for mePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Delivery Driver for our well-established client based in Ormskirk, this is a full time position offering excellent rates of pay.What are the benefits

Day to Day DutiesYour day will start with you spending an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route and taking out your van to start your round.You will then be responsible for:
  • Delivering mail and parcels to houses and businesses within the area
  • Working flexible hours to deliver outstanding levels of service
  • Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and capture customer signatures
  • To succeed, you will need a valid manual Cat B licence with no more than 6 points
  • Good time keeping and customer service skills
  • A professional appearance and attitude and confidence when dealing with people
  • The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative
Essential Skills
  • Full UK license
  • 1+ year driving experience
  • No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - no DD10 DG10 IN10, TT99 or CD10 - MUST PASS A DBS CHECK
  • Experience as a Van delivery driver in essential
  • Great customer service.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in a similar role is desired.
What training is provided
  • Day one site paid induction will be completed.
